Bockfest Homebrew Competition

Bockfest is home to an international bock homebrew competition. Beers are judged on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Bockfest Hall. The Bloatarian Brewing League sponsors the Bockfest Home Brew Competition. The competition is BJCP-sanctioned, and BJCP points are awarded. The Christian Moerlein Brewing company selects one entry from the Traditional Bock (5B) category to be used as the recipe for a special 2013 Bock release. 
The 2012 Schoenling Bock is the winning entry from the 2011 competition, and was created by by Michael Marino. It will be tapped at a special event the week before Bockfest, and only will be available at Bockfest venues.
