Christian Moerlein Brewing Company - Christian Moerlein was Cincinnati's largest pre-Prohibition Brewery, expanding its Over-the-Rhine location to become one of the most prolific breweries in the United States . The name was revived by the Hudepohl-Schoenling Brewery in 1981 to brew one of America 's first craft beers. The Moerlein craft line introduced a bock in 1992 and an event to promote the beer gave rise to Bockfest. Today, the Christian Moerlein Brewing Company is an invaluable sponsor.
Arnold's - Arnold 's Bar & Grill is the oldest saloon in the City of Cincinnati , founded in 1861 and in continuous operation ever since - straight through Prohibition. Arnold's was the first bar to serve the modern Christian Moerlein, receiving delivery from Hudepohl in a horse-drawn wagon. Proprietors, Ronda and Bret Androski, dedicate both time and major financial assistance to the event. Bockfest would not be possible without their help.
Grammer's - In the 1800s and early 1900s, Over-the-Rhine was full of saloons, restaurants and beer gardens. Unfortunately, time has taken most of these places. While exteriors still exist, there is only one with the interior intact. Former Vice-Mayor Jim Tarbell lovingly and meticulously restored Grammer's in the 1980s; and the Relish Restaurant Group re-opened it in 2008. The main bar still contains its original features, making it both a fun and popular night spot as well as a trip back to 1911. Except for the years that it spent tragically closed, Grammer's has been a mainstay of Bockfest festivities from the beginning. Grammer's is also a major financial contributor to Bockfest and the event would not be possible without their help.
Queen City Sausage - Throughout the century, and for more than 100 years, Cincinnati’s historic West End was known as “Porkopolis,” with over 40 separate shops producing the fine meat products for the rest of the nation. It was the old-world recipes and traditions handed down from generation to generation that made it a meat-packing hub. In 1965, Elmer Hensler joined forces with Cincinnati’s best “spice man,” Alois Stadler, and master sausage-maker, George Nagel, to create Queen City Sausage. Using authentic German recipes, together they earned a reputation for making the best sausage in all of Porkopolis. Now, what was once populated by 40 different meat shops, is now the backdrop to one fine craft sausage-maker. Queen City Sausage is Porkopolis, and no one is more delighted than Elmer Hensler himself. The little meat shop that started with a dream and a whole lot of dedication has transformed into the region’s largest locally-owned and operated sausage producer. At age 81, Elmer is engaged every day like the first to ensure the craft-sausage tradition he defined lives on forever.
Brewery District CURC - The Brewery District Community Urban Redevelopment Corp. is a non-profit dedicated to the revitalization of Over-the-Rhine's Brewery District and the celebration of Cincinnati 's brewing heritage. The Brewery District provides major financial support to Bockfest. The event would not be possible without the Brewery District's help, and the Brewery District functions with the help of volunteers and paid members like YOU.

Built in 1868, the building has been restored and remodeled to fit today's urban landscape. The open, loft environment enables flexible and creative arrangement options, making it an ideal venue to meet, greet, play and party in downtown Cincinnati. Owners Wade and Debbie Dent have developed a number of properties in OTR and are long-time and devoted advocates of the neighborhood's rebirth. They donate the space, design work, and planning time to make PretzelFest happen.
MOMs - Merchants of Main was originally founded to help facilitate Bockfest. The brainchild of a Hudepohl-Schoenling beer rep, Bockfest grew and fostered many of its Renaissance Over-the-Rhine themes as a result of Over-the-Rhine pioneers like Jim Tarbell (then owner of Arnold's and Grammer's), Terry Carter (original owner of Neon's), and Julie Fay, the long-time and tireless President of MOMs who has been critical to the development and livelihood of Bockfest. MOMs pays for the carriages that place local notables in the parade, covers Schnitzel's costs for leading it (including the whiskey that diva demands), and plays a central role in organization.
Over-the-Rhine Foundation - The Over-the-Rhine Foundation has been working to improve this historically significant neighborhood since 1992. We believe that Over-the-Rhine is more than simply a community worth preserving. It is the heart of Cincinnati and the key to a better future, not only for OTR - but for the region as well. The OTRF embraces our mission to preserve, protect and celebrate Over-the-Rhine by creating an Ecologically Sustainable, urban community. We work in collaboration with like-minded organizations, dedicated to re-inventing Over-the Rhine as an exemplary, diverse neighborhood in which to live, work and play.
German-American Citizens League of Greater Cincinnati - In the 1800s and early 1900s, Over-the-Rhine was inhabited predominately by German-Americans; and even German-American societies that were largely composed of people who lived elsewhere met in German Over-the-Rhine. Historically, these societies were plentiful and held many different interests - from sport and dance to politics and culture. The modern embodiment of that umbrella organization is the German American Citizens League. GACL President, Dr. Don Heinrich Tolzmann, and members William Kraeling and Chuck Deitz have become a critical component of Bockfest organization, coordinating entertainment and building the vision of both Continental Sunday and Bockfest in general.
