Steins in the Rhine

Cincinnati’s rich German brewing heritage left a hidden treasure trove of steins, neon signs, cans, bottles, and other breweriana through the region’s living rooms, rec rooms, basements, and attics. Join us as as we combine Antiques Roadshow, beer, and Bockfest at the Garfield Suites.

“Steins-in-the-Rhine ” will offer free, informational appraisals of authentic beer steins by members of the Thoroughbred Stein Verein, a chapter of Stein Collectors International, and breweriana experts will be available to give estimates on all other types of historic, Cincinnati-area beer memorabilia.

ADMISSION AND APPRAISALS ARE FREE!

A display of antique steins and Cincinnati brewery memorabilia will decorate the room and add to the atmosphere of the event. Many items on display will also be available for sale within a broad price range. Items brought to the event can be sold or consigned for an upcoming stein and breweriana auction contingent on interest by the experts present.

Garfield Suites will have beer available, including the Christian Moerlein Emancipator Dopplebock, and the hotel’s Café Martin will have a full bar and restaurant available.

Bring your stein, beer sign, or other breweriana to our experts and have it appraised while enjoying delicious Bock Beer and food from Cafe Martin.
